Chatarum is a story centered RPGMaker project

Game Content:

A horror game to explore identity trauma and escapism through a moldy analog literally. The game takes heavy inspiration from other indie-developed rpgmaker projects while still looking to tell an original story and with a unique lens. Themes in the game will heavily tilt towards an 18+ MATURE nature so please take that into consideration before playing. Reasons for this include heavy themes of violence and mental illness so please consider your comfort when playing.

Mechanics:

A system including almost 0 actual battles resolving problems instead through dialogue and moon logic-esque puzzles.

Think of this game like a soft point -and-click horror game but made with an rpg aesthetic.

State of game current:

Although I have assets ready to implement the first three areas fully I have not finished even one each of the areas has been made with completely unique assets and almost entirely unique and new sound design as well so it is taking me some time as well as this being my first project I've really worked on worked on so the game as of current is pretty much a character select with a few small areas to explore.
